10 things you should know about mE…

1. I’m a big city gal with the heart of a surfer. I adore theatre and sunshine. I also enjoy a good contradiction.

2. I love to travel and visit new places. Whether by car, train or plane, I typically enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Yes I WILL travel to celebrate your wedding - just ask me!

3. My favourite drinks are coffee and margaritas. I have the former daily and the latter as often as is reasonable.

4. I married my beautiful wife, Stella, in 2017. It was literally the best and most fun day of my life (refer to image above!). I am grateful to all those who fought for Marriage Equality so that our marriage can be legally recognised in this country. It goes without saying (although here I go saying it…) that I am available for and enthusiastic about marrying people who identify as any gender.

5. My first car was a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle called ‘Sandy’. I had her for 11 glorious years and, man, did we have some fun adventures!

6. My professional background is in theatre and education. I have just enough of a performance background to make me feel very comfortable in front of a crowd, but not enough for there to be a risk of me breaking out into a full musical theatre number at any given opportunity (unless requested…).

7. My favourite recent purchase is a gold, 6-foot palm-tree lamp. The light it throws on the ceiling at night makes me feel like I’m on the final date on The Bachelor. Not that I would ever, EVER go on The Bachelor. I’m a married woman after all!

8. My guilty pleasure is going out for dinner to a fancy restaurant. Actually, scrap that. I feel no guilt about it whatsoever.

9. I took up skateboarding when I was 35. I had always wanted to as a teenager but was too embarrassed to try in case I sucked at it. Turns out I’m actually ok!

10. I love love, laughter, parties and getting just a bit sentimental. This means I REALLY like weddings and would be thrilled to help you with yours.
